Staying Over?

How long should you stay in Teddington?

We love our corner of South- West London and know you will too.

We think a stay of two nights is pretty perfect. A little less? You’ll have a great time (we promise), but there’s just so much to see and do in and around our hometown that you’ll wish you had an extra night with us.

Staying for longer? We’ll give you all the hints and tips to make sure Teddington props the top of your city break hitlist, time and time again.

What are the best things to do in Teddington?

There’s so much. Honestly, so much as we’re lucky to be on the doorstep to Central and South London.

Head to Teddington High Streets (we have two) and mooch around the many coffee shops, eateries and boutique, independent shops – or take a leisurely stroll over to Bushy Park and land at Hampton Court Palace.

There’s probably too much to list, and we do love to share personal recommendations, so feel free to ask us when you’re here – we’re a super friendly bunch.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3pm.

If you arrive early and your room isn’t quite ready, there’s plenty of space in our pub (she’s a real beauty) to relax, have a bite to eat or a little tipple. Arriving early and want to head out? No problem, we’ll hold on to your bags until you’re back.

Check-out is by 11am.

What time is breakfast?

Brekkie is served from 7am on weekdays, and 8am on weekends (we all deserve a little lie-in). If your room rate doesn’t include breakfast but you can’t quite resist, fear not, walk-ins are very welcome.

Do you have any family-friendly bedrooms?

We most certainly do – our Family Comfy rooms have built in bunk beds (kids just love them). But if our Boutique-y bedrooms are more your style, our Feature Boutiques have a sofa bed – so plenty of space for the littlies.

Kids under 2 stay for free. 2-16 are £15 per night.

Can I bring my dog to stay?

Absolutely – just add your dog to your booking (up to two pups can stay with you for £20 per night), and we’ll make sure they get a VIP welcome with a doggy hamper full of tasty tail-wagging treats, a doggy bed or blanket and bowl.

Do you have any parking?

We do have on-site parking but if we’re full and you’re not able to grab a space with us, there’s a few car parks nearby – the closest being Teddington Station Car Park.

How do I get to you via public transport?

We’re (almost literally) a hop and a skip from Teddington Station, with a direct links to London Waterloo.

Booking Bits

Can I cancel my booking?

We understand that plans sometimes change, so we try to make our booking policies super flexible. You can cancel or modify your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. If you cancel outside of this time or don’t show up, we’re sorry, but we’ll have to charge you for the first night of your stay. The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-refundable and non-amendable.

Can I make changes to my booking?

You can make changes to your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. This includes changes to your package, room and extras (as long as it’s available). The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-amendable.

Can I get a copy of my invoice?

Of course. When booking online, you have the option to send an invoice in step 2. Missed this step? Not to worry, just ask at Reception and the team will email you a copy. Checked out already? Pop us an email and we’ll send one right over.

Weekend Staycation

Recently renovated hotel with the quirkiest bedroom!

We stayed in Valentine’s Mansion with plush furnishings along with a bathtub next to the bed. The Park is a great getaway from busy Central London and is only minutes from Bushy Park (deer spotting!)

Afternoon Tea at the Park

What stood out for me was the chicken & tarragon sandwich, which was tasty and the choice of herb worked well. The macarons and walnut cake were winners for me; moist, flavoursome and incredibly moreish.
On the two occasions I have visited, the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. All in all a lovely experience and a couple of hours well spent.

Popped in – fell in love!

Wow, what a place! The interior is very classic but cool, similar vibe to The Ivy which I love. We had a few shandies whilst sinking into the huge grand armchairs, admiring the interiors.

 

We had the fish and chips, which was HUGE and DELICIOUS. Could not fault one bit, just bloomin’ lovely. The staff are a breath of fresh air in this gorgeous refurbed restaurant and hotel. You are made to feel so incredibly welcome, and able to genuinely relax in a warm and inviting environment.

Amazing refurbishment, combining incredible country style with elegant accents, comfortable and cosy areas to eat. The large bar with dark stained shelved, high bar top, copper details and warm crimson paint was beautiful. Could have easily been the setting for a Regency town hall dance or the library fo a fine house.
