Plan your trip to The Park, Teddington

There’s so much to see and do near The Park. Hampton Court Palace, Strawberry Hill House, Bushy Park and Twickenham Rugby Stadium are all nearby. For those wanting to explore further afield, Central London is a short train ride way, directly from Teddington train station,  just moments from our hotel.

Bushy Park

The second largest of London’s Royal Parks, Bushy Park is famed for its waterways, grassland and herds of both red and fallow deer.

Whilst walking around it’s vast 1099 acres of land you can watch out for kingfishers, woodpeckers and kestrels flying above, visit the Diana Fountain (designed by Christopher Wren), then enjoy some refreshments and The Pheasantry Cafe.

Twickenham Stadium

The Home of England Rugby, Twickenham Stadium is the largest dedicated rugby union venue in the world, seating an impressive 82,000 spectators. Just 7 minutes by train, you can buy game tickets, soak up the electric atmosphere of a live match, book a stadium tour, visit the world rugby museum or watch some of the biggest names in music perform.

Strawberry Hill House

Strawberry Hill House, also known as the “little Gothic Castle” is a beautiful example of Gothic Revival architecture with a wonderful story to tell through its inhabitants, design, collection and restoration. Visit the house and learn all about the famous local family who designed and built it.

You can also visit the house’s beautiful gardens for free so why not enjoy a picnic on a Summer’s day?

Lovely Hotel!

Lovely hotel in a great location near to the station. Very comfortable room with tea and coffee and a bottle of water, a nice little extra. Friendly helpful staff.

Excellent Service!

I was here with my friends for dinner. We ordered haddock, pork belly and lamb shoulder. The food was delicious! The waitresses who served us (Aneta and Natalia) were very friendly, helpful and they had excellent manners. I would like to meet more often in restaurants people who work with such passion like them. Thank you for great evening 🙂

Visit To Hampton Court

The park hotel is well located for a visit to Hampton court, we walked across Bushy park to Hampton court about a 25 minutes walk. We were very lucky with the weather a beautiful autumn day. the walk would not be enjoyable in inclement weather but there is also a regular bus service (no 68) between Teddington high street and East Molesey train station about 50 yards from the entrance to Hampton court. Breakfast was first rate all the usual continental, cereals etc with also a extensive hot menu to order from which was much more exciting than the usual full English breakfast. We then travelled on to Windsor just a 30 minute drive away. Great value hotel.

A Memorable School Reunion

I had the unenviable task of organising a reunion for my old school friends (and several of their husbands) with people coming from all points of the compass. We chose The Park Hotel because it’s not far from the station and it has good car parking. I started organising the lunch at least 2 months before it happened and they came up with a really attractive and well-priced 3 course set menu, with 3 choices per course. The meal was fantastic, the service was great and the restaurant was beautiful – we will definitely repeat the event at The Park Hotel!
